Loading an SQL view file contents

The steps for loading the contents of an SQL view file is similar to those for loading table and user table contents.

To load an SQL view file’s contents:

Access the appropriate Data tool (the Data Administration tool if you are using a graphical interface or the Data Dictionary if you are using a character interface.
Choose Admin Load Data and Definitions SQL Views. The Data tool prompts you for an input file from which to load the SQL views. The default filename is _view.d.
Specify the filename or accept the default. After loading the view file contents from the specified file, the Data tool displays a status message and prompts you to continue.
Choose OK to return to the Data Administration or Data Dictionary main window.
